Vendor Management Specialist (Day/Mid Shift - Fully Remote)

As a Vendor Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining relationships with our vendors to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality goods and services. We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - Manage and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality goods and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and select potential vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to ensure the best possible pricing and terms.
- Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns that arise.
- Continuously evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records and documentation.
- Develop and implement vendor management policies and procedures.
- Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
- Communicate effectively with vendors to facilitate smooth and efficient operations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
- Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and provide feedback to vendors.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and changes in the industry to inform vendor selection and management strategies.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Train and support team members on vendor management processes and procedures.
- Resolve any disputes or conflicts that may arise with vendors.
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with vendors.
- Monitor vendor invoices and ensure timely and accurate payment.
- Participate in vendor audits and assessments.
- Continuously strive for excellence in vendor management and contribute to the overall success of the company.
