Tax Accountant (Tax Preparation & Filing) | $60/hr Remote
Position: Tax Agent Type: Hourly contract Compensation: $20 - $60/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week Role Responsibilities
- Review and validate tax forms for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare, process, and submit tax filings for individuals and organizations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality tax documentation and reporting.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable tax laws, codes, and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders through clear written and verbal updates.
- Analyze financial data to support accurate tax reporting and compliance.
- Identify discrepancies and escalate complex issues to senior professionals.
Requirements
- Certified tax agent with strong experience in tax preparation and filing.
- Strong experience reviewing tax forms and financial documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in financial data interpretation.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote environment.
- Solid understanding of tax regulations, compliance standards, and best practices.
- Proficiency with digital tax tools and financial data systems.
