[Remote] Software Engineer, AI SDK
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Vercel is an agentic infrastructure company that shapes how the web is built. They are seeking a Software Engineer for the AI SDK Team to develop and enhance their TypeScript toolkit for AI-native products, collaborating with a distributed team to create a best-in-class SDK.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of the AI SDK, ensuring it meets high-performance standards and integrates seamlessly with our deployment platform
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Conduct comprehensive testing to ensure the reliability and stability of the SDK
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and infrastructure experts, to address challenges and deliver exceptional results
- Engage with the open-source community, participate in discussions, and contribute to related projects, aligning with Vercel's commitment to giving back to the developer community
- Actively gather feedback from developers and users, and use it to drive continuous improvement and innovation in the AI SDK
Skills
- You have at least 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with modern frontend development tools
- Experience contributing to or participating in open source projects
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
