[Remote] SEO Team Lead

Seer Interactive is a digital marketing consultancy focused on leveraging data, technology, and AI to create impactful solutions for their clients. They are seeking an SEO Team Lead who will engage with C-level executives, manage client relationships, and develop junior team members while driving thought leadership in the SEO space. The role emphasizes the importance of AI in enhancing client services and requires a strong commitment to growth and team development.
Responsibilities
- You will be a key player in growing divisional revenue, primarily through retaining your portfolio of clients, with a healthy dose of up-selling and cross-selling when appropriate
- You will build and maintain strong client relationships rooted in empathy, transparency, with the desire to help them exceed their goals
- You will manage and shape the development of more junior team members, understanding their goals and guiding them towards new growth opportunities
- You will help define the SEO team of tomorrow, hopping in on sourcing, interviewing, and selecting new members for your awesome team
- You will drive thought leadership through sharing knowledge about the latest industry trends, tests and trials, both with Seer’s clients and the larger digital marketing community
- You understand that AI has a critical role to play in how we service clients, so you’ll leverage new tools to drive efficiencies in not only your own workflows, but test and share learnings for the benefit of the greater team
Skills
- Hands-on SEO agency experience across Content Strategy, Enterprise SEO, PR, Paid Media, and/or Analytics
- Superb client management skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Consistent track record in seeing opportunities for account growth and driving increased revenue
- Extraordinary leadership skills and experience managing teams with 4+ direct reports
- Ability to identify and attract great talent
