[Remote] IT - Software Quality Assurance Engineering III
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Alpha Consulting Corp. is seeking a Senior Software (AI) Test Engineer to evaluate and design testing procedures ensuring software quality standards are met. The role involves developing AI programs for automating requirements and test case preparation, as well as designing and developing test automation scripts using Selenium and Python.
Responsibilities
- 5 years of specialized AI development experience in technology or software development using Visual Studio Code, Python, Selenium, Databricks, Co-pilot etc
- Design and develop test automation scripts using Selenium with Python, leveraging available AI models and LLMs to accelerate script creation, maintenance, and self healing
- Build solutions using Visual Studio Code, Python, and related technologies to harness generative AI and LLMs (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Databricks)
- Integrate the existing Python test automation framework with AI-based solutions to improve coverage, reliability, and efficiency
- Ensure all AI scripts and programs are fully executable on postal-issued laptops within approved security and environment constraints
- Train designated team members to execute, troubleshoot, and maintain the AI scripts and programs
- Develop comprehensive training materials and documentation to support knowledge transfer and long-term maintenance
- Candidates invited for interviews will be required to present working samples of relevant AI-enabled automation work
Skills
- All candidates must be a US Citizen, or have permanent residence status (Green Card) who has the ability to obtain a public trust
- 5 years of specialized AI development experience in technology or software development using Visual Studio Code, Python, Selenium, Databricks, Co-pilot etc
- Strong understanding of the full lifecycle (SDLC) with Agile/Scrum experience
- A strong understanding of Web-based applications
- Proven ability to Plan, Develop, Deploy Automated Test Frameworks and Scripts based upon BDD (Cucumber) / ATDD approach
- Experience using Java/Ruby Automation Frameworks, including framework development
- Experience with Build Processes using Jenkins or Cloud Management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (ability to translate between business and technical concepts)
- 8+ years' extensive experience developing automation tests in Selenium (TestNG)
- 8+ years' experience developing automated tests with Selenium / SOAPUI
- Proven ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences, both business and technical
- Proven ability to track, and fully document changes to business requirements (both functional and system)
- A minimum of eight (8) to twelve (12) years' relevant experience
- A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required. If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field then four additional years of related experience is required
