Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Educate students on various mathematical topics, including Geometry and advanced mathematical concepts. Utilize learning technology to facilitate interactive and effective learning experiences. Assess student progress through standardized testing and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall educational experience. Participate in education administration tasks as needed, including curriculum development and student assessments. Conduct research on best practices in mathematics education to continuously improve teaching methods. Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field; teaching certification is preferred. Experience in higher education teaching or education administration is a plus. Strong knowledge of lesson planning techniques and educational methodologies. Familiarity with standardized testing processes and preparation strategies. Ability to integrate technology effectively into the classroom setting. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students of varying skill levels.
