Ledger Assistant | Bentley Labs
THG is a global ecommerce group focused on beauty and sports nutrition, and they are seeking a Ledger Assistant for their Finance Team. The role involves supporting the finance team with invoicing, bank reconciliations, and maintaining supplier and customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Sustain high levels of customer service when communicating with our suppliers and customers
- Run weekly and monthly reports to support reconciliations and month end
- To process invoices and credit notes accurately and timely
- Ability to work cross-functionally and prioritize time sensitive tasks
- To produce accurate month end reports across purchase and sales ledger
- To follow all company polices and procedures, raising any concerns to the Finance Director
- To assist in maintaining bank reconciliations
- To maintain debtors and creditor balances
- Producing statement reconciliations for both customers and suppliers
- To assist and perform any other accounts duties as and when required
- Communicating effectively and positively with all teams, colleagues and managers
- Take reasonable care for the health and safety for yourself and other persons who may be affected by your work
- To cooperate with regards to all company health & safety measures, following H&S training when using equipment
- Report to a person in authority any work situation which may represent a serious or imminent danger to health & safety or any shortcomings in the protection arrangements to health & safety. In respect of any hazards remember ‘see it, report it’
- Helping to promote a positive working atmosphere within the company
- Any other duties that may be required from time to time
Skills
- Ledger or accounting experience
- Highly numerate with experience working in excel
- Strong analytical skills
