Junior Azure Support & SRE Engineer
Title: Junior Azure Support & SRE Engineer Location: Mexico City.Remote Department: Web Application Support & Operations Experience: 5+ years in Azure cloud operations or application support
Key Responsibilities
Monitor: Track application health using Azure Application Insights and Azure Monitor. Respond: Act as the first line of defense for production incidents and outages. Troubleshoot: Resolve performance bottlenecks across the web, API, and database layers. Optimize: Fine-tune caching strategies, database queries, and API routing. Automate: Build scripts to automate routine maintenance and self-healing tasks. Technical Requirements: Compute: Deep knowledge of Azure App Services, Container Apps and Azure Static Web Apps. API Management: Experience configuring policies and routing in Azure APIM. Data & Storage: Proficiency with Azure Database for PostgreSQL and Azure Blob Storage. Caching: Hands-on experience managing and scaling Azure Cache for Redis. AI & Analytics: Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry (formerly Azure Machine Learning/Foundry tools). Observability: Expert-level skills in Kusto Query Language (KQL) for Application Insights. Log Analysis: Expert-level skills in Log Analytics. Soft Skills: Strong root-cause analysis skills. Clear communication during high-pressure incidents. Ability to work in a rotational 24/7 follow-the-sun support model. Skills to be evaluated on Container Apps and Azure Static Web Apps.
