Job Title: Desktop Support Inventory Coordinator Location- Remote Job Summary: We are looking for a Desktop Support Inventory Coordinator to manage and track IT hardware and software assets. This role involves supporting desktop operations, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring timely allocation and recovery of IT equipment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update inventory records for IT assets (laptops, desktops, peripherals, software licenses)
  • Track asset allocation, movement, and returns across users and departments
  • Coordinate with the desktop support team for device setup, replacement, and decommissioning
  • Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
  • Ensure proper tagging, documentation, and asset lifecycle management
  • Assist in procurement and vendor coordination for IT equipment
  • Support end-users with basic desktop-related issues when required
  • Generate inventory reports and maintain documentation
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and asset management procedures
  • Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Mac), and peripherals
  • Familiarity with inventory or asset management tools
  • Proficiency in MS Excel or similar tools for tracking and reporting
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Good communication and coordination abilities
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in IT asset management or desktop support
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
  • Experience Level:
  • 2–4 years (suitable for s and entry-level candidates)
